Qualification: MSc. Business Computing
Seeba was born on 11 November 1962
in Navrongo. He was awarded Diploma in the Management and Analysis of
Longitudinal Demographic Data in 1993 from the University of Southern
Maine.
He again obtained in 1999, a Diploma
in Statistics from the Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic
Research, University of Ghana, Legon and a certificate in Geographical
Information Systems (GIS) from the Department of Epidemiology and Population
Health, LSHTM, London.
In September, 2004 he enrolled in
the University of Westminster, London, where he successfully pursued
an MSc degree programme in Business Computing.
Seeba has extensive experience,
having worked as a fieldworker in the Ghana VAST Projects from March
1989 to May 1990 and also computing having also worked as a Data Assistant
(1990 – 1994) and as the main Data Manager since he moved to the
Kintampo Health Research Centre in January 1995. He is currently a Principal
Data Manager, head of the computer lab in KHRC and head of the GIS team.
His main future interests include
looking at inequities in health outcomes: the effect of socio-economic
status and access to health services using GIS data.
